Yes — Zara runs small, with a slim European cut. Zara designs to continental European proportions: narrower shoulders, slimmer sleeves, and a shorter torso than typical US/UK brands. Most shoppers should size up at least one size, especially in blazers, shirts, and denim.

Where Zara's measurements live

Zara publishes no brand-level size chart. Measurements are stated per garment: select a size on the product page and Zara shows the body measurements that size fits, alongside a per-item "Find your size" tool that takes your measurements and fit preference. Any brand-wide Zara chart you find elsewhere online is a third-party reconstruction, and they disagree with one another, so treat the product page as the only authority. How to choose your size at Zara

Zara sizes by EU numbers first: the tag shows EU sizing with US/UK conversions printed underneath. When in doubt, trust the EU number and the garment measurements.
Blazers and outerwear: cut close through the shoulders, so size up if you layer underneath.
Denim: Zara jeans have minimal stretch in many lines; size up unless the listing says "stretch."
Between sizes? With Zara's slim cut, go up, not down.
Check the product page: Zara's fit varies noticeably between collections (TRF runs smaller than the main line).
